Ever since I have taken up my profession as an event organizer, I am quite tied up with my work. The weekdays look quite long and tiring and weekends run away fast having little time to spend with my family. I look forward to long holidays, where I can travel with my family to some interesting places and spend time with them. Aaron especially wants his momma to spend time with him every day, but I can hardly afford to. My travel to foreign countries is the result of my longing to be with my family. I often plan a vacation and the one to Sri Lanka was the latest one. My husband liked my idea of visiting Sri Lanka this time. I booked the Business Class tickets with multiple airlines, from Goa to Bangalore with Jet Airways and Bangalore to Colombo with SriLankan Airlines. Over the years of my experience as an event organizer I have learned how to travel cheaply, yet luxuriously. We started off our journey on a Thursday where our flight was scheduled in the morning. Jet Airways offered best services when it comes to offering services both within and outside the country. The Business Class seats offered enough width to relax; the staff was quite attentive and pleasing. We reached Bangalore and walked to lounge area to wait for our next flight to Sri Lanka, which was by Sri Lankan Airlines. Onboard the Sri Lankan Airlines, we were welcomed and ushered to our seats. The interiors were well designed to offer comfort and warmth to passengers. The seats offered ample room for us to stretch our body and legs. The food was delicious and contained mostly Indian variety of dishes with fresh juice. Aaron insisted on playing video games and one of the attendants helped him figure out the game he wanted to play. Over the years of my experience as an event organizer, I have figured out that service sector has developed many times when compared to anything for people want convenience and can hardly wait for anything.
Our flight travel by Sri Lankan Airlines was quite comfortable and we landed on the Bandaranaike Airport in Colombo to proceed to our hotel. Being an event organiser, I have to travel to different corners of the country throughout the year. And whenever I get a chance, I love to travel with my family members so that I get to spend some special time with them without compromising my profession. My little one Aaron is a big fan of amusement parks. We have been to several cities and experienced different forms of fun in each amusement park. Each park tends to amuse us in a different manner. These parks also enable me to boost my event management skills. After exploring such parks in different cities in the country, I have prepared a list of the best amusements parks, which are a must-visit for every Indian. The pole position in this list would be occupied by Wondela in Bangalore. It is undoubtedly one of the best and top rated amusement parks in the country. It hosts a number of amazing rides, which are ideal for weekend getaways. There are a number of restaurants serving delicious foods. While adults have to pay Rs.700 for entering the park, children need just Rs.540. The next in this list is Adlabs Imagica in Mumbai. It is a bit expensive and is equally lucrative for both adults and children. It is equipped with all the latest fun rides available till date. The Essel World is another such amusement park in Mumbai, which is certainly the top rated place for entertainment and fun. If you are a person fond of parties and celebrations, this is just the ideal place for you. The next is Wonderla in Kochi, which is spread over 20 acres of land and is a great place for having adventure and fun. The Nicco Park is another famous amusement park located in the Salt Lake City in the heart of Kolkata. It has a number of rides and facilities for activities, which are not only meant for fun but education as well. The Kingdom of Dreams is another must-visit amusement park in Gurgaon, which holds the credit for being the first theatre, leisure and live entertainment destination. Things like Nautanki Mahal, Culture Gully and Showshaa Theatre are bound to win your hearts. The Worlds of Wonders in Noida, MGM Dizzee World in Chennai and Adventure Islands in Delhi are worth visiting as well.
